Victory through Numbers
An assault trooper in the Blobulonian Army, 3rd Division. Capable of subdividing upon death, and overwhelming their foes with numbers.

The feared Blobulonian Empire once spanned a thousand worlds, and only began to crumble after a disastrous winter campaign through a particularly cold region of space.

Blobulons crave battle above all things, and in the Gungeon they can relive their glorious and cruel legacy.

Blobulons move towards the player and attempt to deal contact damage. They split into two Blobuloids upon death.

Blobulons leave trails of goop where they go. This trail usually does nothing other than wipe away other liquids on the floor, helping prevent damage from poison, electrocuted water and flaming oil.

If a Blobulon is jammed, the two Blobuloids it splits into will also be jammed; otherwise, they'll have independent chances to be jammed if any curse has obtained.

Divide and Conquer
When a Blobulon dies, it immediately spawns two vengeful Blobuloids.

Substantially faster than their predecessor, Blobuloids are known for overwhelming their prey with pincer strategies.

Blobuloids move towards the player at a slightly greater speed than Blobulons and attempt to deal contact damage. They split into two Blobulins upon death.

Just like Blobulons, the Blobulins they split into will be guaranteed to be jammed if the Blobuloid that spawned them was also jammed.

Quantity over Quality
Blobulins form the lowest ranks of the Blobulonian Army.

These fanatic warriors throw themselves into combat with total disregard. Their hateful speed is only matched by their fragility.

Blobulins move towards the player at much higher speeds and attempt to deal contact damage. They have extremely low health and can be killed without taking damage by rolling into them.

Chemical Warfare
Poisbulons represent a terrifying advancement in Blobulonian warfare, leaving a toxic trail in their wake.

The Blobulonian Empire is not a signatory of the Guneva Convention, and is not bound by the traditional restrictions on chemical weapons.

Poisbulons move towards the player and leave a trail of poison. They spawn a Poisbuloid upon death.

Toxic Relationship
The genetic process by which Poisbulons are created introduced a flaw in their replication.

Fused together, these tortured slimes know only pain.

Poisbulins, finally free of the excrutiating experience of being a Poisbuloid, march to the song of freedom and attack with abandon.

Best Served Cold
Beware the Blizzbulon's circular spray, for it always precedes several targeted assaults.

Originally bred by the Blobulonian Empire for an ill-fated winter campaign, the Blizzbulon feels no pity in its cold heart.

Blizzbulons fire triangular bullets in all directions, followed by several spreads of 3 triangular bullets towards the player. They freeze upon death and can be shattered by either shooting at them or dodge rolling into them. Using a blank will just push the body.

If jammed, Blizzbulons will have such great attack speed that they'll never have time to move in between each attack and will be stationary aside from knockback.

L-1000
Leadbulons form the heavy infantry of the Blobulonian Army.

Though their great mass prevents them from dividing, Leadbulons' internal temperature rises dramatically upon death.

Leadbulons move towards the player and attempt to deal contact damage. After taking enough damage, they will become enraged and continue to chase the player, leaving a trail of fire and slowly shrinking until they burn out and die automatically. They can still be damaged while enraged to make them shrink faster. While enraged, their run speed dramatically increases.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The flavor text "L-1000" is reference to the T-1000 from the Terminator movie series. This model was composed of fluid-like metal. In the movie, the Terminator is defeated by falling into molten steel, where it melts beyond its ability to reform, a behavior referenced by the Leadbulon when it ignites which causes it to fade away.

Great Mighty
A disgusting glob of waste. A Blobulon corrupted by decades spent in Bullet Hell.

Poopulons slide towards the player, occasionally spinning, releasing a large amount of spiraling bullets in all directions. The bullets always spiral clockwise.

Poopulons occasionally drop a piece of corn upon death, which turns into popcorn upon receiving damage. While this corn technically counts as an enemy, it does not need to be killed to complete the room.

Trivia[edit | edit source]

  • The flavor text is a reference to "Great Mighty Poo" from Conker's Bad Fur Day.

Battle Gorger
An elite knight of the Blobulonian Army, 1st Division. Feasts upon combat.

Thick and heavy with the blood of their enemies, Bloodbulons have wholly succumbed to the berserker rage inherent to all Blobulons.

Bloodbulons move towards the player and grow as they take damage. Upon death, they release many strings of bullets in all directions.
