* What gun were you using? Guns that fire slowly can trigger Irradiated Lead on every bullets. Platinum Bullets' effects are pretty small after just one chamber, if it does affect bullet effects it wouldn't make sense for it to do that much.

** I was using Rogue Special, and by the time I died, the fire rate was nearly doubled and it was still poisoning every shot. And the Irradiated Lead page doesn't say anything about the poison chance varying according to fire rate.--[[Special:Contributions/71.56.148.29|71.56.148.29]] 15:56, 4 April 2020 (UTC)

Its not clear if the gun needs to hit an enemy to be counted towards increasing stats, the first bullet points states you must hit someone and the next two bullet points say you can just have normalized gun firing with no talk of hitting something.

I suppose both could work or one or the other, but its not very clear.

I think Platinum Bullets might also improve bullet modifiers. The one time I've gotten them, I got Irradiated Lead one chamber later, and EVERY bullet I fired was poisonous. It wasn't a synergy either.--71.56.148.29 09:32, 3 April 2020 (UTC)

How does it increase rate and damage?

Its not clear if the gun needs to hit an enemy to be counted towards increasing stats, the first bullet points states you must hit someone and the next two bullet points say you can just have normalized gun firing with no talk of hitting something.
