Ammonomicon Bullat

A Bat Bullet
The bats that once nested here have been transformed by the great Bullet.

Able to fly at high speeds to attack, but unable to survive the force of the impact.

Bullat

Bullats are small enemies that simply launch themselves at the player, dying in the process. They possess flight, allowing them to back off into unreachable and long distances to perform their attacks from afar. Because of their low HP, they can usually be killed in one blow by any attack, even dodge rolling.

Notes

  • Bullats, as well as all of their variants, can only drop Money if the player kills them before they can fire.

Ammonomicon Shotgat

A Bat Shell
Shotgats split themselves in two, firing in a V shape. Their aim can be foiled by remaining still.

Shotgats are shotgun shell variants of the normal Bullat. They behave like regular Bullats, but fire two projectiles in a V shape. Like Shroomers, these attacks can be evaded by standing still.

Their discarded pins are a valuable component in Gunjuration.

Grenats behave like regular Bullats, but explode upon death or upon hitting an obstacle.

Ammonomicon Spirat

A Bat Ghost
The ghosts of Bullats who died valiantly, returned from beyond the Curtain.

Hollow Bullats are able to reposition themselves before impact, giving them the appearance of attacking in numbers.

Spirats behave like regular Bullats, but can teleport away before hitting a wall and re-launch themselves, predicting the player's movements each time. If the player is close to a wall or behind cover, they may simply hit a wall and disappear without teleporting.

Notes

  • If the Spirat is destroyed by Blasphemy mid-launch, it cannot refire.
  • If you hit a Spirat with Casey, when it refires, it will fire at insanely fast speeds.

Ammonomicon King Bullat

A Big Bat Bullet
The largest known species of Bullat.

King Bullats fly in place, frequently firing circles of 12 bullets outwards, with each bullet bouncing off of a wall or object once, destroying said object in the process. Upon death, they spawn approximately 4 Bullats and Shotgats.

Spawned Bullat's jam chance is separate from their parents, with each Bullat having an independent jam chance.

Trivia

  • It's possible that the reason King Bullats shoot bouncing bullets is based on how real bats use echolocation.
